Honest to goodness, this just looks like magic to me. I saw Norman Kennedy do it at a workshop. I’ve never been able to get a spindle to spin like that, just by “shaking” it in my hand! (I know that’s not what’s happening, but just what it looks like.)
Interesting. It looks like a video I saw of Scottish spindle spinning awhile ago (do not remember web page).
